Hey RM fam,
I am currently prepping to travel to London with my husband and was going to post this until after I came back – but for some reason or another I believe right now was the right time!
There are a lot of times in our life when we will say yes to some amazing things. Saying yes to exciting plans with friends, a new adventure trip or saying yes to marrying your best friend. These are to name a few.
But there is another “yes”.
There is another offer that we can accept which is unlike anything else in this world, because this “yes” is not part of it.
We have the choice to say yes to become a follower of Christ and to accept God into our lives.
I can honestly write that saying yes to Jesus and accepting him into my life has transformed every aspect of it!
I should add, just because we say yes to Jesus doesn’t mean we get a ticket to an easy, blissful, stress/trouble free life. In fact Jesus himself says in this world we WILL face difficulty (John 16:33). However, what is beautiful is that we do not face it alone for HE is with us and by our side until the very end of time.
“So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while” (1 Peter 1:6).
I’ll admit I am not where I want to be yet. There is a lot I am still working on, but I thank God that I am not where I used to be. My life just hasn’t been the same, the miracles, the healing and the journey is all because I said yes to picking up my cross and following Him. This yes has not been easy, but it has certainly been an adventure!
This is still the best yes I’ve ever accepted after 6 years, and my prayer for you today is that you can experience the abundant life that comes from saying yes to the Lord of lords. There is no yes quite like it!
Have a lovely rest of the week.
